about

This is the first release of 2016 for 'Tunnel At The End Of The Light' and his first that can truly be called a full length album. 9 tracks coming in at approximately 49 minutes and this time there's a running theme (well sort of, kinda... more or less).
In brief terms, it relates to the last moments of dying stars & planets!

Mostly composed of piano, cello, violin, viola, french horn, some form of bass, cracked percussive elementz & field recordings... the coldest star has somber beginnings, gigantic cinematic soundscapes, warped orchestrations and an overall sense of sadness.

It's like being sonically sucked into a watery black hole where sound and space degrade further and further as the album progresses.

All subtle morphing and sound manipulation by Alan Clark. Mastering by Alan Clark. Produced and mixed in a small but well organized apartment in Charlottenlund with a great view!

☮ peace!

Hope you enjoy the journey! ☮

about

tunnel at the end of the light Valencian Community, Spain

Tunnel At The End Of the Light - an ambient-ish endeavour from Al Clark. Piano, strings, field recordings, wall of sound drones & red wine... every now and again things can also get a bit post rock too. Things are generally structured and melodic here.
